If you’re like me, by the time you finish dinner there is hardly any energy left for a messy and time-consuming attempt at making a desert. I found this recipe in while searching for quick and easy desert recipes and swapped in cannabutter. The results were incredible. Most of the things you need for this recipe are already in your kitchen, and you can, quite literally, pull this off in 10 minutes. You will not regret it.
•1 pint vanilla-bean ice cream
•2 tablespoons of cannabutter
•1/2 cup dark-brown sugar
•1/4 cup of high-quality dark rum (Captain Morgan or Sailor Jerry’s will do the trick)
Start by melting the cannabutter in your skillet. Next, add the brown sugar and rum. Whisk gently over medium heat. Let the mixture gently bubble, but be careful not to burn. Halve the banana both ways and add to the skillet. Cook the bananas on both sides and baste for 2-5 minutes until they are heated all the way through.
Serve bananas over top the vanilla ice cream. Feeling freaky? Add some homemade whipped cream on top! The bananas also make a great addition to pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
