Dr. Dabber Budder Cutter Review

Dr. Dabber Budder Cutter Review

Different viscosities among cannabis concentrates means that no one tool is perfectly suited for all of them. Finding a new use for the long-lasting batteries that power their vape pens, like the Aurora, Dr. Dabber has created a one-all solution for those who consume a variety of concentrates.

The Budder Cutter comes with seven different removable heads, all offering their own advantages for different concentrates. Instead of powering a vape pen, the battery acts as a heat source for the tool heads. Think of each tool like a drill bit, fulfilling a certain purpose depending on the job at hand. As an electric dab tool, the Budder Cutter fits in most jean pockets and comes with a carrying case for the device and the seven interchangeable heads.

To use the Budder Cutter, screw on the desired tool head, and press the button to heat it. Depending on the purpose of the tool, either scoop up or cut the material to your liking. You can even use the Budder Cutter electric dab tool to apply your dab onto the titanium, quartz, or ceramic vaporizing surface.

Any person that has trouble handling their wax will find a solution in the Budder Cutter from Dr. Dabber because using different tools and heat makes every consistency easy to work with. I found that allowing the Budder Cutter to cool down slightly before applying it to my wax made it much easier to pick up concentrates that otherwise are next to impossible t0 scoop.

Dr. Dabber Aurora Vaporizer Pen Review

Dr. Dabber Aurora Vaporizer Pen Review

In the past few years, the market has been flooded with vaporizers for cannabis concentrates that all offer the same features. In game changing fashion, however, Dr. Dabber has developed a product that extends beyond the edge of the envelope.

The Aurora Vaporizer Pen from Dr. Dabber is a sleek, slim magnetic dab pen equipped with three calibrated heat settings, and each pen comes with three different atomizers. Also included with the purchase of Dr. Dabber Aurora is a silicone storage container, a dab loading tool, keychain, and a charger for the unit. The heat and atomizer variations provide an optimal experience for those who enjoy low-temperature dabbing.

dr dabber aurora review

The most distinguishable feature of the Aurora is its magnetic parts, which make loading and charging the device a breeze. To load more concentrates, just pull the magnetic cap and base apart — no twisting necessary. The magnets do the work when you’re ready to recharge the Aurora too, as you just have to connect the battery to the charger before plugging it into the power outlet. Typically the threading of a portable vape pen battery gets sticky with residual oil, but you can evade this problem indefinitely with the magnetic design of the Dr. Dabber Aurora. Although it’s easy to pull apart, the connection is just as tight as threaded units.

Using the Aura allows the consumer to taste the cannabis terpenes, like myrcene and limonene, rather than just combustion. The ceramic and quartz atomizers also allow the flavor of the terpenes to shine through. Switching from one heat setting to another is also easy with the Aurora, as a simple click of the button three times will fluctuate between the different settings. In my opinion, there’s no better way to experience the full flavor of the terps than by vaporizing at the lowest temperature with the ceramic donut atomizer.

One of the most important aspects to using a vaporizer pen for concentrates is how well it hits once it’s loaded. The Dr. Dabber Aurora gets a round of applause from me in this regard. These days, people are chasing clouds and dabbing as much as possible, and Dr. Dabber has stepped to the plate to give the market what it’s asking for. Even on the lower settings, every puff on the Aurora from Dr. Dabber is sure to be a satisfying one.

Leafs By Snoop Gold Rush Wax Review

Leafs By Snoop Gold Rush Wax Review

Legendary rapper and iconic cannabis smoking celebrity Snoop Dogg has teamed up with the LivWell Cannabis of Colorado to create a line of Leafs By Snoop branded products. The product line includes strains like Cali Kush, candy edibles like Peach Gummies and strain specific concentrates like Gold Rush Sativa Wax.

The latest gem to drop from the Leafs by Snoop line is the Gold Rush Wax, which lives up to its name with a crisp yellow color and extremely sweet flavor. I picked up a gram of the Gold Rush Wax from the LivWell on Broadway in Denver on Friday April 15, the day it first hit the shelves. After being consumed, the mellow sativa effects slowly started to creep in, leaving me relaxed and smiling yet aware and sociable.

To top off an already desirable product, the packaging is both unique and sleek, creating a sure way to identify this new brand’s work in the future. The presentation is always on point. The white and gold triangular, folded box that the Gold Rush Wax comes in, gives these dabs a royal feeling, and even sparkles when it’s held up to the light (as you can see in the photo below). Spoiler alert: the inside of the white outer surface is splashed with swirling colors and a fun “OOOO WEEEE!!” message.

gold rush wax review

The Leafs By Snoop Gold Rush Wax was housed in a industry standard clear plastic twist-top container that was, like a Matryoshka nesting doll, inside another white container with a screw-off cap. It was easy to scoop crumbs out for the final dab, which is important for concentrate cannoisseurs like myself.

This Gold Rush wax took on more of a crumbly consistency, which works amazing for anyone that likes to dunk their dabs with their fingers. On a fresh quartz banger, the bright gold pigment began to melt into a clear liquid, and was eventually vaporized at a very low temperature with the help of a carb cap.

Almost immediately after inhalation, the taste of melon with a pinch of a floral underbelly starts to overcome the taste buds. Similar to its therapeutic scent and flavor, the high that’s attained can be described as both sweet and mellow. The difference between the tongue and brain’s impression is that the effects take a little while to roll in on the latter. However, with a couple of hits and a little time, the Gold Rush Sativa Wax from Leafs By Snoop is a favorable and desirable experience.

5 Ways to Avoid Dry Herb

5 Ways to Avoid Dry Herb

There’s nothing like a fresh, aromatic bud. Terpenes are the chemical compounds that give cannabis (and other plants) its distinct flavors and odors. But when cannabis loses all of its moisture, the pungent terpene oils also evaporate and become virtually non-existent.

Not only do terpenes make cannabis taste and smells the way it does, but they are also responsible for modulating the high that is associated with the inhalation of cannabinoids. Besides the loss of terpenes, bone dry cannabis becomes brittle and harder to work with when packing a bowl or rolling a joint. The burning quality of slightly hydrated herb is better than that of dehydrated cannabis, because it burns slower and cleaner. Plus, no one wants to break up material that turns to dust once it gets handled because it’s hard to work with and is even worse to smoke.

So how can you keep your whole flower cannabis fresh and hydrated in storage?

Integra Pack

Integra packs are one of the many ways to maintain a healthy moisture level for cannabis. By sticking them in the same jar, these tiny packets release or absorb moisture depending on the ambient moisture or humidity.

For those with larger stashes, there is a size that accommodates an increase in the number of buds being maintained. Our product will not harden like a wafer when used up. Our product comes with a replacement indicator card to let you know when it’s time to replace.

RAW Hydrostone

(Source)

The RAW Hydrostone is made from uncoated natural terracotta clay that gets baked in a kiln. This design was originally developed to keep tobacco fresh while being transported on ships.

In order to use the simple moisturizing stone, allow it to soak in water for five minutes. Next, place it in a bag or jar with your cannabis. It keeps the material fresh for a very long time, and will even bring older cannabis back to life. Like the Boveda packs, the Hydrostone is reusable as well.

Sealed Jar

Using a sealed jar plays an important role in preventing the loss of too much moisture when it comes to dry herb. And they’re cheap and easy to find!

Mason jars or pill bottles are acceptable to use, but there are many stash jars available for purchase both online and in head shops across the world. Anything that is clean and has a tight seal will help to preserve humidity. MassRoots recently teamed up with the Medtainer to bring a customized Medtainer to our shop! It’s airtight, watertight, and smell-proof. Check it out here.

Seek Out Properly Cured Buds

It’s important to remember that buds that are improperly cured are not going to vaporize or burn well at all. If there are recreational or medical outlets around, don’t settle for something that doesn’t seem like it’s either too moist or not moist enough. The loss of terpenes from poor curing can result in a dull taste that degrades the flavor and overall experience of smoking cannabis.

Keep Your Herb in a Dark and Cool Space

Cannabis that’s exposed to sunlight can affect the flavor of the bud. So, once you have your cannabis stashed away in a jar or airtight bag, remember to prevent terpenes from vaporizing by keeping it in a dark and cool space. While it doesn’t have to be stuck in a refrigerator, warm conditions aren’t ideal for storing herbs, so plan accordingly. Storing it in a cupboard or drawer should do the trick in most climates.
