How WeedPass Works:
• WeedPass purchases rewards in bulk — typically concert, movie or sporting tickets — greatly reducing their cost. WeedPass is currently acquiring tickets for approximately $5-10 per ticket.
• WeedPass distributes these tickets to participating dispensaries to give as a reward to consumers for spending a particular amount at their dispensary.
• WeedPass charges dispensaries a listing fee of approximately $15-20 per ticket to list the reward to its membership.
• WeedPass lists the dispensary reward offer on its platform and consumers can claim the rewards directly at the dispensary.
Consumers are spending approximately $50-75 at the dispensary to receive tickets as a reward.
MassRoots has been beta-testing the WeedPass Rewards Program since August 2018 and is now supporting dozens of dispensaries as paid clients. MassRoots believes WeedPass’ margins could expand as it expands into movies and sporting events, the volume of tickets purchased by WeedPass continues to grow and consumer adoption continues to increase.
MassRoots’ Corporate Timeline
Expanding Marijuana Markets
We believe we have one of the best models to profit off of the growing trend of cannabis regulation. Because we are not involved in the production or sale of cannabis, we do not have to build grow facilities, open retail stores, or have a physical presence in the state in order to generate revenue. At the same time, our revenue model is not tied to the success of a particular location, brand or ballot initiative — we believe we will have a significant percentage of all dispensaries and brands on our application, making MassRoots a technology platform for the entire cannabis industry.
