1. Jawn Owens

Jawn Owens work is easy to recognize as his. His gyrocyclers have lots of tubes and curves and tend to be two-toned. He worked with the legendary Germ and currently works and lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

2. Brad Chun

Brad Chun was born in Hawaii. It wasn’t until after high school, on a trip to Eugene, Oregon, that he initially discovered and learned about glass as an art. Three years later he relocated to Eugene and began an apprenticeship with the (Bob) Snodgrass school of Glass. Now living in Kansas, Brad has opened and currently operates a studio with classes of his own.

3. Ravidas Glass

It is hard to find much information about Ravidas Glass, aside from what is on their Instagram page. Almost everything this artist creates is rainbow colored, including this insane functional fish. The rainbow scheme and the design he creates to blend each color with the next is unique and makes it easy to recognize his work when you see it.

4. Hondo Pinzon

Work from Hondo Pinzon is top shelf. His signature pineapple theme is present in most of his work. If you see a pineapple top incorporated into a functional glass piece, odds are you are looking at Hondo’s work. His pieces are elaborate and creative, colorful and one of a kind.

5. Jsyn Lord

Super juicy set 🍉🍇💦 #microlording

One of my favorites, Jysn Lord creates these blocky/geometrical pieces – everything seems like it stepped out of a cartoon. He picks the right colors everytime, bold and complimentary. His functional pieces could easily double as fine artwork you could simply display in your home.

6. Phil Siegel

Originally from California and now in Washington state, Phil Siegel is a wizard of glass who creates pint sized wizards IN glass. Of course, he makes more than just wizards, but it is safe to say it is his signature style for sure. Who wouldn’t want their own mini glass Gandalf?

7. Banjo Glass

Lookin’ like that @cowboyglasss #devamechanoid from last month just got hisseff a big sister! 😍🔥🧡Big shout out to the world champion #metalhorse @liveresinnobudders For inspiring this #devicycler collaboration with my very good brother, 🤠🙏🏻don’t nobody got ❤️❤️❤️❤️like the man @cowboyglasss 🔥🔥🔥 So stoked to work with this killer artist…. every time! This year marks a full 10 years of collaborations between he and I:) absolutely loving this piece, And as always, loving these beautiful photos from brother @windhome ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤜🏽📸🤛🏽 Have a beautiful rainbow day everyone 😀 Features a heavy dose of @glassalchemy #gahotsauce coated in #gasserum 😘

“Trippy” is a pretty realistic way to describe work by Banjo Glass. The Banjo Glass website has a “Bio” section that simply reads “When I get to it,” so no real word on the background of this glass artist. Often, he creates a piece in the shape of a person meditating with elaborate decorations surrounding.

8. Sonny Anderson

Most of the glass by Sonny Anderson is fairly small, fits in the palm of your hand type of stuff. Put the size of the pieces does not reflect on the amount of talent Anderson has. Sonny’s pieces are mostly colorful and stout. Anderson was doing this elongated skull / alien head thing for a while, which are some of my favorite pieces.

9. Buck Glass

Saving one of the best for last, Buck Glass is best known for dinosaurs and pieces with long teeth. His Instagram feed is full of dino heads and collabs with other artists on this list. One really cool piece is a collaboration with Phil Siegel where one of Siegel’s signature wizards is holding one of Buck’s fish. His craftsmanship is astounding and anyone who has a chance to use one of his functional pieces is a lucky individual.
