Drug busts come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. Sometimes they’re mobile, sometimes they involve a greasy hiding spot, and sometimes they both bewilder and amuse.
This story from Lakefield, Minnesota is the latter.
Josh Spillman and Trina Broesder were caught running an illegal pot dispensary (a.k.a selling weed) out of a “fish house” which translates to a homemade igloo. After a three-week investigation into the sticky igloo, they were busted with “drug paraphernalia, some marijuana, and a fish house”.
Not only did they lose their product, but the fish house is now “subject to forfeiture because it is believed it was used to facilitate drug sales and storage.”
The duo now faces felony drug charges because operating a black market pot operation out of an icehouse is a major threat to society.
