The Growing Kitchen Mighty Mint Cookie Review

The Growing Kitchen Mighty Mint Cookie Review

If you have ever dabbled with edibles, then you are likely familiar with many of the perils that may await unsuspecting consumers.

Some consumers are had by edibles that do more damage to their wallet than their sobriety. Other consumers experience the great displeasure of an edible that tastes like it had been keister-stashed somewhere along the way in its supply chain. The most unfortunate of cannabis edibles consumers let their impatience get the best of them by doubling down on a dose after incorrectly assuming an edible is weak because it has not taken effect yet; enjoy white-knuckling your La-Z-Boy as you fight off the overwhelming, unending waves of physical stimulation for the next three to eight hours.

For these reasons, I tend to avoid the unpredictable realm of edibles. Every so often, however, I come across an edible that makes me forget my apprehensions; I present to you The Mighty Mint Cookie from the The Growing Kitchen, a popular manufacturer of quality cannabis edibles, concentrates, and topicals in Colorado.

The Growing Kitchen’s Mighty Mint is a golf ball-sized, organic dark chocolate cookie infused with fresh mint and white chocolate chips. The Mighty Mint, designed with recreational and novice consumer in mind, contains just 10 mg of active THC in one single serving.

This means that most consumers, regardless of tolerance and experience, can eat an entire cookie or even enjoy a couple of these bad boys without dooming themselves to a day of couchlocked humility. And that is fantastic because the Mighty Mint is delicious! The Mighty Mint does not have a single hint of that obnoxious hash flavor that lurks in so many other edibles and, as a cookie, it easily compares to its store-bought, sober cousins. Oh, you do not like mint chocolate chip? Too bad! Just kidding; the Growing Kitchen has a variety of flavors and products for everyone.

For this review, I consumed one entire 10 mg Mighty Mint. My edibles tolerance caps at about 60 to 75 mg of THC, so I really did not expect an intense experience from one dose. Forty-five minutes after eating that sweet, sweet confection, I felt a pleasant physical sensation spread over my head and body as I became more relaxed. I did not, however, experience lethargy or become couchlocked. I was ecstatic to find that the Mighty Mint’s effects were present but light, as expected. Anytime an edible performs as expected, you have won; trust me.

I would recommend the Growing Kitchen’s Mighty Mint to anyone who is interested in edibles and likes mint chocolate chip (again, there are other flavors). Novice users will enjoy wetting their beak with one or two doses, while the more experienced user will appreciate being able to treat a delicious edible like a snack instead of a pill. I also agree with what the Might Mint package states: “Use: to relax, ease pain or improve mood.”
