Police are searching for suspects involved in the robbery of the Seattle marijuana dispensary, Natural Green Medicine, located at 4701 Roosevelt Way NE. The burglary took place during early morning hours, and thieves made away with $40,000 worth of marijuana.
The store owner, Serj Kocharian, told KIRO 7 that they damaged everything inside the store, hammered the cash register open, and escaped with $40,000 in dried cannabis flowers.
Robbers were able to enter the property without setting off the security system by first smashing an outside window 10 ft. above the ground. Once inside the dispensary waiting area, the thieves smashed a hole in the wall next to the giant, fortified recycled jail door (scene pictured at very top) to enter the room where the cannabis was stored.
It appears as though the robbers exited the same way they entered because they had to stack furniture to climb through the window that is 10 ft. off of the ground. Investigators did find a few fingerprints near the point of exit, and are hopeful that this evidence will assist in a conviction.
If you have any information, please contact the Seattle police department immediately.
