White Fire OG x Kuchi
Simply Pure, 2000 W. 32nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80211
This Rolex OG Kush strain is wonderfully developed, with firm buds that taper from fat bottoms to slender tips. Cosmetically I find it very pleasing when buds resemble the family Christmas tree, or Holiday tree if that better suits your viewpoint. The color of green is quite dark like a typical pine, which contrasts pleasantly with the robust trichome development so typical of most Kush strains. Red hairs and shimmering crystals (kief) pop from the darker canvas to create an overall aesthetic of potent potential. I would also add that there are few to none loose leaves or shake with this sample from Simply Pure.
I noticed that the Rolex crumbed deliciously when loading a glass spoon with even more trichomes revealed within. This is conducive to easy loading and rolling if you are in a tight spot, coupled with a fast, even burn Rolex is convenient to manage anywhere. Actually, it is so easy to pull on this strain that I found myself drawing in a larger hit than I had planned.
Rolex is a head changer no question. My first hit was a whopper, but after repeated consumption I noticed that no matter the amount inhaled the effects are largely the same. I don’t mean this to be a disclaimer but you might not want to have anything too serious planned for the roughly thirty or forty-five minutes after consuming this particular Kush strain. That is not to say there is a certain, “befuddled” quality to this high however. I felt in reasonable control of my faculties and was able to enjoy the altering effects without unpleasant side effects like anxiety…or the simple animal fear that sometimes accompanies a dalliance with real head changers.
On the whole this a very solid bud. I very much enjoyed the exterior with its contrast between dark green leaf, deep red hairs, and a growth of crystalline trichomes which, when taken altogether, conjure images of the mine in Snow White, or the previously mentioned non-denominational Holiday tree. The mind altering effects were impressive, and I really enjoyed the cerebral high that actually stuck around for longer than I expected. At least an hour after smoking I was still feeling the burn. Because this strain provides more cerebral relaxation than body, I would recommend this for parties or just hanging out with friends. Once again, you might want to reserve some time after consumption to let the initial effects of Rolex OG Kush play out before doing anything like operating heavy machinery.
