This week over one hundred Princeton University students were evacuated from their dorm rooms after several students were smoking marijuana. Over the past year many similar incidents have occurred at other ivy league and “high” ranking schools. One Cornell student we interviewed stated that, “many of us have realized alcohol and binge drinking are really detrimental to our bodies, minds, and ultimately our studies. Smoking a little cannabis and having an intellectual conversation can be a much more relaxing, safer and rewarding way to socialize with our fellow students.” After talking to several high performing students who preferred marijuana to alcohol, we began wondering, do smart kids smoke more weed? The discovery channel seems to have an answer with this recent video:
