Jilly Bean is a beautiful stable wax with no break in perfection. The wax is dry but still holds some stickiness making working with the wax a little tricky but not so much it should turn patients off. You get minimal residue after breaking your dabs avoiding losing wax to your breaking surface.
In Refine fashion, your wax glimmers with a diamond like shine exterior in a natural semi-dark orange copper color. With assisted lighting, you lose the dark shade & copper hue allowing the orange to become vibrant. I love the scent from this strain, first whiff bring sugary tones that help in aroma delivery, underneath the sweetness your nose picks up on strong earthy weed like scents. The combination of an earthy weed aroma with a sweet delivery creates a sharp sweet citrus that takes over your nasal passage without stinging the nostrils or capillaries.
If your senses are in tune you’ll be able to distinguish the independent sweet & earth trait separately as well as the citrus combination the sweet & earth partnership creates. Flavor highlights the best part of the scent, the sweet citrus. Low temp allows the flavor to drop the earthy trait so the taste holds just the sweet sugar tones with a sharp citrus highlight. It’ll really taste like you enjoyed a freshly picked sweet tangerine making the mouth salivate.
It smokes fairly smoothly, allowing you to really enjoy the flavor instead of having to deal with a horrendous cough. Entrance of smoke’s easy as well as beginning expansion. Expansion works it’s way around the lungs slowly & heavily, bringing a mild cough for 30 seconds after which any discomfort felt will be vanished. Effects mainly a sativa to the mind & body with some indica characteristics. Your mind will have a mild sedative but for the most part it stays sharp & focused with your body alert & energized.
First doses bring an energetic boost to the mind with a light warm sedative wave. Physically, you’ll be waiting for a slumped drowsy feeling, but that never comes. Your body remains energized, never once showing signs of fatigue or tension.
Jilly Bean 8/10 beautiful presentation & consistency, perfect scent to flavor transfer that’s also sweet & fruity. Effect is a brilliant burst of sativa with a light indica sedative feel hidden deep within the sativa energy.
